Softball Recap: Cibola Triumphs

Cibola got themselves on the board against San Luis on Friday, but San Luis never followed suit. They came out on top against the Sidewinders by a score of 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Sidewinders: they've now won nine in a row.

Not much got past Eliana Corea, who gave up just five hits to keep San Luis off the board. Corea has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Cibola's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kassandra Leal, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Leal has hit this season.

The win got Cibola back to even at 5-5. As for San Luis, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
