Softball Recap: Forreston Takes a Loss

Forreston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Orangeville Broncos. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Broncos from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Forreston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Ingram, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Forreston's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Orangeville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Orangeville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against Eastland on the 30th. Hopefully Forreston paid attention to the Broncos' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
