Tri-Valley won the last time they faced Butte County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 52-40. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won three games in a row.

Jace Waggoner threw for 38 yards on three of five attempts.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Butte County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Tri-Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Garden Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matches. As for Butte County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Logos at 7:00 p.m. on October 4.
