Baseball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

If Buffalo was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Sauk Rapids-Rice last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bison fell 8-4 to the Minnetonka Skippers on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Skippers: they've now lost seven in a row.

RILEY WEST made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Minnetonka, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Buffalo will welcome Monticello at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Minnetonka, they will venture away from home to square off against Waconia at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
