Soccer Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks. While losing is never fun, Albany can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 196th, while Saratoga Springs are ranked fourth).

Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Saratoga Springs, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Albany is set to square off against their familiar foe Shenendehowa at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Saratoga Springs will face off against rival Colonie Central at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
