Football Recap: Platteview Trojans vs. Beatrice Orangemen        
        
		
             Platteview put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Beatrice Orangemen with  points to spare, taking the game  28-14.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Platteview to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Logan Grosdidier, who threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave  Grosdidier a new career-high in  rushing yards.  Thomas Tagel was  Grosdidier's top target, picking up 87 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 32 yards.
 Platteview's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Cash Porter and  Christopher George.
 Although Beatrice took the loss, they still got scores from  John Riesen and  Connor Hayden.
 Platteview's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Beatrice, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Platteview will take on Pius X at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Beatrice, they will be playing in front of their home fans against York  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
