Baseball Game Preview: Lutheran Mustangs vs. Live Oak Classical Falcons

Lutheran is 0-3 against Live Oak Classical since March of 2025 but things could change on Friday. The Mustangs will host the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Lutheran has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lutheran's last matchup with John Paul II could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Mustangs came up short against the Guardians, falling 22-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since February 20th.

Meanwhile, Live Oak Classical entered their tilt with Lutheran on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.

Live Oak Classical's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.
