Football Recap: Rickards Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chiles, Rickards was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 14-6 victory over the Taylor County Bulldogs. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Rickards' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Taylor County, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rickards will head out to face off against Madison County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Taylor County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Godby at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
