Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Canyon

The Roosevelt Mustangs will take on the Canyon Comanches in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Wednesday, neither Roosevelt nor Ganesha could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Roosevelt's goal came courtesy of Ivan Morales, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Canyon after they claimed the first score on Monday, but it was Valencia who ended up claiming the real prize. Canyon fell just short of Valencia by a score of 3-2. The loss was the Comanches' first of the season.

With that draw, Roosevelt's record moves to 3-1-2. As for Canyon, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1-1.
