Softball Recap: Macomb Comes Up Short

If Macomb was feeling good fresh off their 20-4 takedown of Galesburg on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bombers came up short against the Havana Ducks on Monday, falling 14-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bombers of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Macomb's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Havana, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 13-2-1 record this season.

Macomb has already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Monmouth-Roseville on the 29th. As for Havana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Delavan on the 29th.
