While Bloomer's win against Northwestern wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blackhawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Blackhawks as they're now sitting on three straight.
Bloomer had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-17, 15-9.
