Soccer Recap: Harrison Central Takes a Loss

Harrison Central lost against Pass Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. 2025 welcomed the Harrison Central Red Rebels with a 7-0 loss courtesy of the Pass Christian Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Red Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Pirates are ranked 31st).

Harrison Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-1 record this season. As for Pass Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrison Central will challenge Ocean Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pass Christian, they will square off against St. Patrick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
