Baseball Recap: Rolling Meadows' Undefeated Season over After 12 Games

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rolling Meadows's offense. They lost 8-0 to Metea Valley on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Rolling Meadows has suffered since April 29, 2024.

Rolling Meadows saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Brigham, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rolling Meadows fell to 10-1-1. As for Metea Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Rolling Meadows and Metea Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Mustangs (ranked 75th) will meet Maine East (ranked 387th) at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Metea Valley will challenge Oswego East at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (147 vs. 308).
