Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop's Knights vs. Del Norte Nighthawks

The Bishop's Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Del Norte Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop's is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.

On Tuesday, Bishop's earned a 3-1 win over Pacific Ridge.

The victory didn't come easy: Pacific Ridge scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 26-28, 25-20.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Del Norte, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against La Costa Canyon on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Nighthawks have posted since April 3rd.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (105-102) Del Norte actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-22, 19-25, 15-12.

Bishop's pushed their record up to 22-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Del Norte, they moved to 19-16 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
