Football Recap: Tough Loss for Pace

Thursday just wasn't the day for Pace's offense. They were outmatched by the Ray Fighting Texans and fell 49-0. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pace has been struggling for a while as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, dating back to last year. That leaves them at a 1-4 record this season. As for Ray, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, Pace and Ray will both be playing Lopez the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on October 2, while the Fighting Texans will host them at 7:00 p.m. on October 8.
