Baseball Recap: Logos Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Logos Prep Academy's offense. They came up short against the St. Francis Episcopal Wolves on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Logos Prep Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Tibbetts, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Tibbetts hit this season.

Logos Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for St. Francis Episcopal, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Logos Prep Academy Lions take on Brazos Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Francis Episcopal, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on St. Joseph at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
