Volleyball Recap: South Central's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Topsail, South Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Jacksonville Cardinals by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

In the three sets South Central was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 20-25, 25-15, 25-13.

With the victory, South Central broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-9. As for Jacksonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. South Central will face off against Ayden - Grifton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jacksonville, they will challenge D.H. Conley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
