Basketball Game Preview: Roff Tigers vs. Vanoss Wolves

Roff is 2-8 against Vanoss since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Roff Tigers will host the Vanoss Wolves at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Roff is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They came out on top against Stringtown by a score of 52-42 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Vanoss posted their closest victory since January 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past Allen 53-51. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Mustangs are ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roff's win bumped their record up to 2-16. As for Vanoss, their victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Things could have been worse for Roff, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-36 loss to Vanoss in their previous matchup back in February of 2024.
