Harvard-Westlake had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Venice Gondoliers. Considering the Wolverines have won eight matchups by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Harvard-Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Venice, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvard-Westlake will head out to square off against Notre Dame (SO) at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Venice, they will take on El Segundo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Gondoliers surely won't give up without a fight.
