Softball Recap: Reading Red KNights vs. Governor Mifflin Mustangs
Reading had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-6 to make it 11. They came up short against the Governor Mifflin Mustangs, falling 15-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red KNights of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.
Yolanda Velez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kellyn Paulino, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
