Kickapoo has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lebanon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Chiefs will welcome the Yellowjackets at 6:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kickapoo has 21 straight victories, Lebanon has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Kickapoo is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Republic, who was ranked 16th at the time (Kickapoo was ranked sixth). The Chiefs came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 44-37 on Monday. Those 44 points were actually the fewest the Chiefs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Lebanon had taken Waynesville down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Yellowjackets fell 45-32 to the Tigers.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Kickapoo, their win bumped their record up to 21-0.

Everything came up roses for Kickapoo against Lebanon in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, as the squad secured an 83-32 victory. Will the Chiefs repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
