Football Game Preview: Jupiter Warriors vs. Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves

The Jupiter Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jupiter will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.

Jupiter made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Centennial, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Jupiter put the hurt on Centennial with a sharp 21-0 win on Thursday. Give the Warriors' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Rachael Abbass looked great while leading her team to the win, throwing for 140 yards and three touchdowns. What's more, she racked up 105.5 passer rating, the most she's had over her last nine contests.

Jupiter didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tessa Grimm and Katelyn Sparapani.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Oxbridge Academy's offense. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cardinal Newman on Wednesday. The ThunderWolves' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oxbridge Academy fell to 6-1. As for Jupiter, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
