Softball Recap: Marshall County Has No Trouble Against Graves County

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Henderson County, Marshall County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Graves County Eagles as they made off with an 8-2 win. Considering the Marshals have won 18 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Marshall County's victory bumped their record up to 30-5. As for Graves County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-14-1.

Looking ahead, Marshall County will square off against McCracken County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Marshals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Graves County, they will face off against Kennett at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season.
