Jena strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Monterey Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Giants, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Kiette Cooper was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was RJ McDowell, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Jena always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Jena's record is now 5-0. As for Monterey, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
