Basketball Recap: Kress Comes Up Short

Kress was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Springlake-Earth Wolverines, falling 60-21. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kangaroos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-29 back in December of 2024.

Kress' defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Springlake-Earth, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Kress will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lazbuddie at 7:30 p.m. Springlake-Earth has already played their next contest (against Rankin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
