Stanton won the last time they faced Crane and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Buffaloes blew past the Cranes 18-3. The result was nothing new for the Buffaloes, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Aubrey Villa was incredible, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2. Lacey Smith was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
Stanton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 10-4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The victory made it two in a row for Stanton and bumps their season record up to 11-14-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.5 runs over those games.
