 The Crawford County Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their third straight  defeat. They lost to Heard County on the road  by a decisive  76-57 margin. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crawford County in their matchups with Heard County: they've now lost three in a row.
 Despite the  defeat, Crawford County had strong showings from  Mareo Slaton, who  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and 14  rebounds, and  Jamahl Willis, who  scored 13 points along with five  rebounds and two  blocks. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Georgia (Crawford County is ranked 523rd, while Lamar County is ranked 518th). Heard County will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Temple at 7:30  p.m.  on February 15th. Heard County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 588 points over their last eight games.
