Eagleville had won eight straight at home, but on Monday they bumped up to 33-5 to make it nine. They put the hurt on the Lincoln County Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 last Saturday.

Campbell Leathers paced Eagleville's offense, picking up 13 kills. Leathers got some help from Preslee Campbell and her 30 assists. Leathers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

As for Lincoln County, their loss ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since August 21st.

Despite the loss, Lincoln County still got an impressive performance from Lucy Summers, who had 15 assists and eight digs. Summers is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 28 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lillian Golden, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Eagleville has already played their next contest (against Smith County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lincoln County, they will face off against Columbia Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
