While Russellville didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Fayette Falcons on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on four straight.

Russellville pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Fayette, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russellville will welcome St. Elizabeth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fayette, they will challenge Paris at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
