Preview: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Delphi Community Oracles
Two dominant guards in Trent Decrane and Chase Almager are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Sheridan Blackhawks will be playing at home against the Delphi Community Oracles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Sheridan had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Carroll and snuck past 75-72. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Delphi Community earned a 50-42 win over Western Boone on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Delphi Community.
Delphi Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Almager, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Almager is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Hartley, who scored seven points along with six assists.
Sheridan is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Delphi Community, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
