Volleyball Recap: Spring Lake Park Victorious

Spring Lake Park picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Winona Winhawks by a score of 2-0.

Adeline Wolfgang paced Spring Lake Park's offense, picking up eight kills. Wolfgang got some help from Taylor Blahna and her 16 assists. Blahna also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Amilya Wordlaw, racking up two apiece.

Spring Lake Park's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Winona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Spring Lake Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pine City on the 13th. As for Winona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Owatonna on the 16th.
