Basketball Recap: Holt Takes a Loss

Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 59-43 to the Sipsey Valley Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ironmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-8 back in December of 2024.

Holt's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Sipsey Valley, they moved to 9-14 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Holt has already played their next matchup (against Holy Spirit Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sipsey Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-43 loss against Northridge on the 28th.
