Basketball Recap: Welsh Finds Home Court Redemption Against East Beauregard

There's no place like home for Welsh, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 60-52 victory over the East Beauregard Trojans on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Greyhounds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Welsh's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for East Beauregard, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Welsh will venture away from home to take on Johnson Bayou at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Beauregard, they will head out to square off against Merryville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Merryville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
