Soccer Game Preview: Mead Hall Episcopal School vs. Horse Creek Academy

The Mead Hall Episcopal School Panthers will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Horse Creek Academy Stallions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Mead Hall Episcopal School turned things around against Alleluia Community on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Angels a 2-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horse Creek Academy). Everything went their way against Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Monday as Horse Creek Academy made off with a 7-0 win. With that victory, the Stallions brought their scoring average up to 2.6 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Bamberg-Ehrhardt from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Dominic James led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Horse Creek Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Mead Hall Episcopal School, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Mead Hall Episcopal School couldn't quite get it done against Horse Creek Academy in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 4-2. Can Mead Hall Episcopal School avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
