Basketball Game Preview: San Juan Broncos vs. Bryce Valley Mustangs

It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the San Juan Broncos face off against the Bryce Valley Mustangs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday... San Juan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season.

San Juan is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 61-40 to American Leadership Academy. The game marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tripp Palmer put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted 15 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Cole Duke, who put up eight points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bryce Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Monument Valley 74-28. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-7.

With the win, Bryce Valley broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4. As for San Juan, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

San Juan beat Bryce Valley 76-69 when the teams last played back in December of 2017. Will San Juan repeat their success, or does Bryce Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
