            Bayfront Charter is on  a six-game streak of home losses, and Ocean View Christian a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck  on Tuesday. The Bayfront Charter Sharks will host the Ocean View Christian Patriots  at 3:30  p.m. Bayfront Charter will be strutting in after a  victory while Ocean View Christian will be coming in after a  defeat.
Bayfront Charter took a ten-run  loss the last time they faced off against Bonsall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Sharks narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Legionnaires  8-7.

 Daniela Figueroa was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and two unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Figueroa wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Gabriella Loera, who  went 2-for-5 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another  was  Fernanda Garcia, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Ocean View Christian came up short against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter on Thursday and fell  11-6.
  Della Sandoval made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  doubles.
 Ocean View Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bayfront Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 3-15.
 Bayfront Charter took their  win against Ocean View Christian  in their previous meeting  back in April by a conclusive  14-2 score. Will the Sharks repeat their success,  or do  the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
