Softball Recap: Ripon's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kewaskum, Ripon was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against Princeton/Green Lake by a score of 9-4.

Addisyn Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Lily Kwakkel was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Bella Klettke was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Ripon's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-16. As for Princeton/Green Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Coming up, Ripon is taking a road trip to take on Markesan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Princeton/Green Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
