After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Manteca, Elk Grove was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Franklin Wildcats, sneaking past 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Thundering Herd in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.
Elk Grove got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 22-25, 22-25, 30-28, 15-13.
