Latexo waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They skirted past the Leon Cougars 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 on March 4th.

Latexo's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Leon, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Latexo Tigers face off against Oakwood Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakwood has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.5 runs per game on average), something Latexo will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Leon, they will head out on the road to square off against Centerville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
