Preview: Life Christian Academy Lions vs. Master's Hand Christian Warriors
The Life Christian Academy Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Master's Hand Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Life Christian Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Life Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 70-39 loss at the hands of Lancaster Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Life Christian Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Master's Hand Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 68-44 margin over Trinity Christian Homeschool. The score was all tied up 19-19 at the break, but Master's Hand Christian was the better team in the second half.
Master's Hand Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Cade Craig, who scored 17 points along with five steals, and Branson Solomon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Solomon pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Max Minor, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Life Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for Master's Hand Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Life Christian Academy against Master's Hand Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 72-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Life Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
