Softball Preview: Warren Central Vikings vs. Clinton Arrows
The Warren Central Vikings will head out to square off against the Clinton Arrows at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Warren Central came up short against Vicksburg and fell 7-4.
Sydney Hern was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. KK Williamson was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Clinton waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Golden Wave 14-4. The Arrows might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by eight runs or more this season.

Clinton pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Warren Central, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
