Soccer Game Preview: Miller vs. Alice

The Miller Buccaneers will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Alice Coyotes at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Alice took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Miller, who comes in off a win.

Miller took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Ray a 2-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Alice came up short against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on Tuesday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Eagles are ranked 157th).

Alice's goal came courtesy of JOSEPH GAZA, who's now up to three this season.

Alice has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. As for Miller, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
