Mathews can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers. Considering the Blue Devils' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Mathews' victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for King & Queen Central, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Mathews wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 23-2 loss against King William on the 18th. As for King & Queen Central, they will head out on the road to face off against West Point at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
