Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity suffered their closest defeat since January 6th on Friday. They fell just short of the Muhlenberg County Mustangs by a score of 58-56. The close contest was extra heartbreaking for the Raiders, who almost overcame a 20 point deficit.

Izzy Wilkins produced another solid performance dropping a triple-double with 26 points, ten rebounds, and ten blocks for Muhlenberg County. That's the most blocks Wilkins has posted since back in December of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Page, who earned 12 points and three steals.

Trinity's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-14. As for Muhlenberg County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Trinity nor Muhlenberg County have any future games scheduled.
