In Friday's Canine Competition, Elk Point-Jefferson came out on top. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Madison Bulldogs on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Bulldogs last Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (109-93) Elk Point-Jefferson actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-23, 27-25, 15-25, 15-11.

The win made it two in a row for Elk Point-Jefferson and bumps their season record up to 13-16. As for Madison, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-12.

Elk Point-Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Vermillion on the 28th. As for Madison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Garretson on the 28th.
