The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Salt Fork nor Hoopeston made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Storm narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cornjerkers 9-8. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 11, 2022, but that streak is no more.
