Atlantic's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lake Worth Trojans. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-8, 23-25, 25-7, 25-23.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atlantic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colette Simon, who had seven kills and four aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Atlantic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Lake Worth still got an impressive performance from Ileysha Rodriguez, who had ten aces and one block. Rodriguez has been hot, having posted three or more aces the last seven times she's played.

Atlantic picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Lake Worth, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Atlantic has already played their next contest (against Leonard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake Worth also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Pahokee.
