Baseball Recap: Beaverhead County Wins High-Profile Contest Against East Helena

Beaverhead County faced East Helena in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Beavers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Vigilantes 4-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-1 back in March.

Beaverhead County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jase Alvarez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Alvarez's first of the season.

Beaverhead County's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for East Helena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Beaverhead County nor East Helena have any future games scheduled.
