Richlands has gone 9-1 against Tazewell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Blue Tornado will take on the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Richlands will be strutting in after a victory while Tazewell will be coming in after a loss.

Richlands will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Virginia High, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Blue Tornado walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bearcats on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Tornado.

Richlands was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 24-26, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Tazewell lost 3-0 to Marion on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-9.

Richlands' victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Tazewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Richlands took their win against Tazewell in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Tornado since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
