Basketball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Comes Up Short

The Benjamin Franklin Electrons took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Simon Gratz Bulldogs on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Electrons in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Sihaaj Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Simon Gratz, putting up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Rakim Johnson, who posted 13 points.

Benjamin Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Simon Gratz, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Benjamin Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 87-58 victory against Boys' Latin Charter on the 9th. Simon Gratz has also already played their next game, a 68-32 win against Central on the 9th.
